Gerrard

Steven Gerrard played 504 games in the Premier League, scoring 120 goals. Gerrard has scored more than 10 goals in only 4 seasons in the Premier League, the highest being 16 goals in a season. Steven Gerrard is 17th in the Premier league’s all-time goal scoring list, but second only to Lampard in terms of midfielders on that list.

In terms of Silverware, Gerrard won 0 Premier League titles at Liverpool, 2 FA Cups, 3 League Cups, 1 Champions League, 1 Super Cup and 1 Europa League.

Overall Verdict

Lampard would cost more than Gerrard if they were still playing today in terms of market transfer value. The cost would be only marginally higher because Lampard scored more goals from midfield. In terms of trophies, Lampard outshines Gerrard again. Gerrard did do slightly better than Lampard when the England shirt came on. Stevie G was even captain of the Three Lions.
